Sammy is the exact player every coach wants on his team. He buys into what the coaches are selling. Always F1 creates havoc for our forecheck to be successful with no penalties. He checks with purpose and ensures his shift lengths stay short. Sammy is your typical third liner style of player who is being awarded on the scoresheet for doing all the little things right, 6GP 5G 8A 2PIM.
Coming up to the coaches and communicating, just basically talking hockey, trying to figure out where he can improve.
Sammy is always outspoken in the dressing room to help motivate the team.
