Cochrane Minor Hockey Association (CMHA) serves as the backbone of minor hockey for residents within the boundary outlined by Hockey Alberta. Our robust program encompasses various levels to cater to players from 4 to 18 years old. From High-Performance Level AA in the South Central Alberta Hockey League to Community Level REP and RHL tiers, we offer opportunities for growth and development across the spectrum.
For players aspiring to AAA levels, registration through Airdrie Minor Hockey is mandatory. However, regardless of the tryout process, all players must maintain registration with CMHA. This ensures inclusivity and continuity within our hockey community.
Registration deadlines are crucial, especially for AA tryouts. Late submissions may be subject to a fee of $250, emphasizing the importance of adhering to outlined timelines for effective planning and coordination.
Our commitment to fostering a positive environment is reflected in our Conduct Management Plan, aimed at upholding the values of respect and inclusivity. With an elected Executive Committee and Board of Directors, we ensure decisions align with the collective interests of our association.
At CMHA, we prioritize the holistic development of players, coaches, and officials, emphasizing fun and enjoyment alongside skill-building. Together, we aim to create a fulfilling and enriching hockey experience for all involved.
