Why is this player being nominated?
Kai is a natural leader on our team despite him not wanting the spot light or to draw any attention to himself (he might even hate being our player of the month). Kai leads by example- he is hard working, takes instruction well and always has his teammates back. His character and respect for others is contagious and makes him a natural leader on the ice and in life.
Highlight a specific moment or example that reflects their contribution this month:
In a recent game Kai shared a differing opinion from his coach in front of the team during an intermission-it wasn't a big deal. However, afterwards he came to his coach and apologized for being disrespectful (even though it wasn't really disrespectful) - this is just one example of his solid character. It's a pleasure to coach you Kai.
