"Aussie" is a natural born leader on and off the ice. He brings an intensity and work ethic to every game and practice that is admired by the coaching staff as well as his teammates. He possesses a tremendous amount of skill and has the ability to make every player around him better simply by playing "his game. His game on the ice speaks for itself, but what is more important is how he carries himself off the ice and how he treats his fellow teammates by making sure everyone feels welcome and part of our collective family.
Aussie helped the new/first year players feel welcomed to the team and set the tone for the first practice on what is expected in terms of work ethic, attitude, and commitment.
Aussie was recently named Team Captain. He also now smiles and talks more than he did 2 years ago!!!
