Why is this player being nominated?
Lochlann is being nominated because he is always working hard, he is respectful and he listens to his teammates and his coaches. He is a pretty quiet guy but he still has a large presence in the dressing room.
Highlight a specific moment or example that reflects their contribution this month:
Lochlann's greatest attribute is his speed. He looks effortless when he is skating. The coaches wanted to highlight his back checking abilities where he has prevented numerous odd man rushes and even some breakaways. Every once in a while we even get to see him "Superman" slide across the ice to break up a pass!
This is Lochlann's first year playing for CMHA as he and his family moved from Vancouver Island. One of his favorite hockey memories came last year where is U11A team won Gold in the North Delta U11A Winter Classic Tournament. They beat the top Vancouver team, Aldergrove A1. He is looking forward to building more hockey memories this season with his U13AA Bow Valley Timberwolves buddies!
