Why is this player being nominated?
U11-T2’s Player of the Month for February is Carter Fehr. Carter wears his heart on his sleeve every time he hits the ice playing with the competitive edge and desire that all teams want in a player. This determination and tenacity, whether it be chasing down a puck or battling in front of the net, creates energy for the team and sets the bar for what 100% effort should look like.
Highlight a specific moment or example that reflects their contribution this month:
As a result of Carter’s work ethic, passion, and his continuous improvement throughout the season, he has found offensive success scoring clutch goals and making key plays during critical parts of many games this season. Most notably, Carter tallied a goal and an assist in two games versus Canmore to help lead the U11-T2 Rockies to a 2-0 series victory and a birth in the second round of playoffs.
Carter's favourite hockey memories include winning silver medals at both U11-T2 tournaments in Rimbey and Redcliffe this season, as well as going to a Medicine Hat Tigers WHL game and touring their dressing room.
