Why is this player being nominated?
Parker is our player of the month for taking on the center position in a much more competitive league this season. While she played center last year, the higher level of competition has challenged her and she has continued to work hard and improve each game. Beyond her play on the ice Parker is a positive and kind teammate. She shows respect to her teammates, coaches and locker room moms and helps create a supportive team environment. We are proud of Parker’s growth, effort and how coachable she is.
Highlight a specific moment or example that reflects their contribution this month:
During an early January tournament, our team was struggling halfway through and we had to shuffle the lines. Parker stepped up to play center and helped lead the team to bring home gold
