Our U7D Titans coaching staff is pleased to recognize Everett Bertoia as our Player of the Month. Lovingly nicknamed “Captain Everett†by Coach Jeremy, Everett has truly emerged as a leader on our team. A natural defenceman with strong puck movement and developing playmaking abilities, Everett consistently demonstrates a high level of responsibility in his own zone. What makes Everett stand out most, however, is his work ethic and positive attitude. He leads by example every practice and game, showing up ready to compete, eager to learn, and committed to supporting his teammates. His quiet confidence, team-first mindset, and steady presence on the ice have made a meaningful impact on our team culture.

Everett shows up every day with a smile and ready to work. One of our team mottos this season has been “Be Puck Hungry.†During our home tournament, Everett embodied that mindset perfectly. Shift after shift, he worked relentlessly—making strong defensive plays, moving the puck with purpose, and battling hard in the corners. After coming to the bench, Everett would often look at the coaches and say, “Coach, I’m hungry.†Those moments captured exactly what he brings to our team. His leadership is not loud or flashy. It is built on responsible defensive play, relentless puck pursuit, and a consistently positive attitude. For his quiet leadership, strong character, and unwavering effort, we are incredibly proud to recognize Everett as our Player of the Month.
