COCHRANE MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCATION - NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
In accordance with the Alberta Societies Act and Bylaws of the Cochrane Minor Hockey Association (the Association) notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held as follows:
Meeting Date: Wednesday, May 24, 2023
Meeting Time: 7:00PM
Location: To be hosted at SLS Centre - Hillside Room
The meeting will be held for the following purposes:
To review and approve the Financial Statements of the Association for the year ending April 30, 2023.
Nominations can be sent to Mary Lou Spadafore secretary@cochraneminorhockey.com. When nominating someone, please include:
- The name of the individual you are nominating
- The position for which you are nominating them
- Their phone number and/or email address

*Mary Lou will confirm that each nominee accepts their nomination.
Should there be competition for any positions, we will ask each candidate to give a brief summary of why they feel they are best suited for the role. This will be done live at the AGM, and we will then move to a vote.
Nominations will open immediately and remain open until 72 hours prior to the AGM; nominations will close at 7:00PM on May 21st.

If the newly created board position is not listed, please reach out to Marc Gelinas - vpoperations@cochraneminorhockey.com for a brief description.
To be considerate of everyone's time we are requesting that any questions or comments be submitted via email to secretary@cochraneminorhockey.com in advance of the meeting. Please submit by 7:00 PM May 21st 2023.
Time permitting, we will be taking questions from the floor at the end of the meeting.
