Safety is of the utmost importance. The health, safety and well-being of our athletes, coaches, volunteers, staff and families are the top priority. We are in this together and we must all work together to keep each other safe. See notes below and please adhere to our regulations set out.
Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled ice time and we ask that players come fully dressed and ready to step on the ice if possible, if you have to utilize dressing rooms to get ready in it is mandatory that masks are worn and only 1 parent is permitted in the dressing room (for U7, U9 & U11) to assist their player or goalie. Once players are ready parents please exit dressing rooms, our Coach volunteers will be in the dressing rooms to direct players to the bench and ice.
Please leave the facility promptly after your scheduled ice time is over.
Jerseys will be managed by individual players this season and we encourage players to have a separate bag or place to keep their jersey free from being damaged.
MASKS ARE MANADATORY IN DRESSING ROOMS AND HALLWAYS
Participants that are part of a cohort are not required to wear a mask on the ice.
There will be consequences if the athlete and/or family member attends CMHA events when they are unwell or who are required to isolate as per federal and/or provincial requirements, these may include suspensions. It is critical that athletes and families adhere to all guidance as to not jeopardize the health of our athletes and families, or CMHAs ability to bring hockey to our members.
COVID Spectator Capacities
Cochrane Arena & Totem 1 - 100 spectators
Totem 2 & Totem 3 - 75 spectators
There will be signage stating the arena capacities and encouraging physical distancing. We hope to all work together to ensure everyone is following AHS guidelines. If everyone does their part, we will not have to enforce or put stricter rules in place. We do recommend families limit spectators to 1-2 per participant. Masks are not required at this time unless you are in hallways and dressing rooms where a safe social distance is not possible.
